Inside the outrageous $2bn ‘Halo Dome’ that will host WWE Raw’s Netflix debut

The next great sporting Mecca can be found in Inglewood, California.

Not be confused with its neighbor, SoFi Stadium, the NBA's LA Clippers have opened up their own state of the art, cutting-edge arena, the Intuit Dome.

The $2 billion, 18,00 seat arena is unlike any other, and it's the perfect place for WWE to mark a massive move to Netflix.

On Monday, January 6, Raw officially debuts on the streaming platform, and a major show - airing live from LA - is planned.

The Intuit Dome, which held concerts in 2024 leading up to the opening night of the NBA season, is now decked out for WWE.

And it's one hell of a venue. But what exactly makes it unique?

The first of the Intuit Dome's crazy features is the Halo Board, which is a 38,375 square foot, double-sided, 4K resolution video board, the world's largest inside of an arena.

Next is The Wall, which is a 51-row section of seats that has been compared to the "Yellow Wall" at Borussia Dortmund's Westfalenstadion.

As the venue was built to be the home of the Clippers, it also includes multiple basketball courts open to the public, and a new advanced practice facility.

For fans of any sport, the venue has other high-tech features such as facial recognition when entering and the option to order food and drinks directly from your seat.

Ahead of WWE's arrival, the Intuit Dome has already hosted countless NBA games, with fans - and even players - raving about their experiences.

"Yeah, it was crazy. I was just staring at it the whole time. You're not used to that," Kevin Durant, who played the opening game at the venue with the Phoenix Suns, said of 'The Wall'.

He added that the noise in the arena 'sounds a little different' and that it's 'a tough road environment' for anyone who plays on the visiting side.

WWE, of course, will create a vastly different environment for Raw, and have a major show planned for the Netflix launch.
