New Al Nassr forward Sadio Mane will pocket a whopping £650,000-a-week contract in Saudi Arabia.

The 31-year-old has agreed to swap Bayern Munich for the Middle East - just one year after he joined the German giants from Liverpool.

According to Sky Sports, Mane has joined Al Nassr in a £24million deal.

Mane has agreed to a four-year stay in the Gulf nation, where he will earn £34m-per-season tax-free.

Should the Senegal international see out his stay until 2027, he would bank a staggering £136m.

Incredibly, he will be taking home just over £650,000-a-week, which works out to £2.6m-per-month.

To break that down even further, the former Southampton winger will be earning around £93k-per-day, £3.9k-per-hour and £65 every minute.

But that pales into insignificance when compared to new teammate Cristiano Ronaldo's contract, who is the highest-paid athlete in history.

The 38-year-old, who joined Al Nassr in the winter transfer window, is on a £177m yearly salary.

That works out to an astonishing £14.75m every month, with Ronaldo earning an eye-watering £3.4m-a-week and £484k per day - almost as much as what Mane makes in a week.

To put the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's salary into perspective, Forbes had named his long-time rival Lionel Messi as the highest-paid sportsperson in 2022.

They stated that the Inter Miami forward, who recently left Paris Saint-Germain as a free agent, earned £107m from his base football salary and commercial bonuses.

That is £70m less than Ronaldo's deal, but still over £70m more than what Mane will be pocketing.

And Mane has even been gazumped by his ex-Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson following his switch to Saudi Arabia.

Having reunited with Steven Gerrard at Al Ettifaq, the England international will be earning £700,000-a-week, which works out at £36.4m every year.
